[...] A large quantity of folk queried if Natal was in reality. It is amusing how some folks still call it fake and simply a technical fairytale. New demo pictures of Natal has surfaced showing that it does, indeed, work and that it appears to be to be more than playable at this time of the development game. And it’s fair to say the Techland fellows got their butts kicked badly by people who do not even play video games! Nevertheless, the point of the demonstration was that Natal does work in realtime and that it would appear to be wholly functional for some activities. What was not on show was voice-activated operations, which is not too much of a fear for most game players but still a feature which has many querying how well it’ll function in the final product. Also, there were no other games on show outside the rebounding ball demo, which probably affirms that Natal is still far from being altered to play shooter games expediently. One thing worth realizing is that in the demonstration the shady avatar on-screen happened to move quite fluently with the actions of the Peter Ha and Lev Grossman. So the in-game reactive timing to real-world movement proportion appears to be hammered out quite well, which was a glaring problem back in the E3 demonstrations. Natal is getting ready to release this autumn for the Xbox 360. Project Natal. [...]

[...] A large amount of folks questioned if Natal was in reality. It is comical how some folks still call it fake and simply a technical fairytale. New demo pictures of Natal has surfaced showing that it does, indeed, work and that it would appear to be to be more than playable at this time of the development game. Techland was invited to play-test Natal together with the people from Good Housekeeping. And it’s correct the Techland fellows got their butts kicked badly by people who don’t even play video games! Nonetheless, the point of the demonstration was that Natal does work in realtime and that it would appear to be totally functional for some activities. Also, there were no other games on show outside of the bouncing back ball demo, which probably confirms that Natal is still some distance from being altered to play shooter games handily. One thing worth realizing is that in the demonstration the shady avatar on-screen happened to move quite fluently with the actions of the Peter Ha and Lev Grossman. So that the in-game reactive timing to real-world movement proportion appears to be hammered out quite well, which was a blatant problem back in the E3 demonstrations. Natal is about to release this autumn for the Xbox 360. Project Natal. [...]
